Dreaming of Dogs
Last night I dreamed that Daisy pulled herself up onto a motorcycle by her teeth and motored off. Heaven knows where she was going. I was inconsolable.

It's perfectly normal for a parent to worry about their kids riding motorcycles. My dad wouldn't let me buy the Honda 120 that I had my heart set on when I was 16. Let's let Daisy live her dream to become a biker chick. Who cares if she doesn't have an opposable thumb? She'll be fine.
I always, always have nightmares that I've lost one or both of The Girls. Then I wake up in a cold sweat, and find that I can't get up to look for them because I have one canine form draped over my legs, and the other pinning my shoulders. Or some such arrangement. Usually one or both are snoring. Very reassuring. And I think Daisy would look very fetching in leather!

My dream might have been stimulated by Daisy's occasional motor-like snoring. Fortunately, she doesn't have any tattoos. At least that we know about!
