So, no FURminator yet, and we are suffering for it. With so much cold weather and rain, Daisy has amped up her production. Here are results from the latest brushing. Anyone want to spin this up into yarn and make a sweater? Here's a recipe.
Sally, I have one word for you: ROOMBA! The new version does a remarkably good job of cleaning out the FUR VAULT, as my home has come to be known! With big HAIRBALLS like ours, you have to clean out its bin several times during a cycle, but there's a lot to be said for a vacuum that just goes about doing its own thing until its power runs out. Then it calls and begs for more juice so it can work some more.
And it's quiet, so even Maggie, who is terrified of the roar of the vacuum, doesn't get upset. Speaking of terror, Lisa, who is afraid of everything else, has absolutely no fear of any vacuum. She will eat a treat off of one that is on and roaring. Go figure! DAWGS!!!!!!!
You almost have me convinced! Maybe Daisy could even make friends with this Roomba. I learned today that stressed-out rats do much better with peer support. Can a Roomba be a peer? Or do we have to get another Saint Bernard? Think of the fur then! Two Bernards, two Roombas?
